A national grassroots gun rights organization says newly-released data from the FBI on crime has destroyed a “long-standing myth perpetuated by the gun prohibition lobby” which has claimed for years that more guns in private hands translates to more violent crime involving firearms. |

Many deer have been harvested using a 30-30. It was marketed as a sporting cartridge, and it's held that reputation for over 100 years. A new cartridge on the market is ready to challenge the legendary 30-30. The 350 Legend is eerily similar, with a few slight modifications to meet hunting regulations. |

If there were ever two handgun cartridges that could be classified as ubiquitously American, then it would be the 45 Long Colt and the 45 Automatic Colt Pistol (ACP). With a combined service life of over two centuries, both have served as the sidearm cartridge for the U.S. Army and are still used in various applications today in civilian circles. |

Like many 2nd Amendment-loving teenagers of my generation, I was introduced to the FN 5.7x28mm via the Showtime television series Stargate SG-1. Fans of the show will remember how the main characters played by Richard Dean Anderson and Amanda Tapping would travel across the galaxy battling alien forces using their full-auto FN P90s. |
