20 years after Columbine, the guns are still the problem

But the problem then, as is true after mass shootings today, was guns. Whether it’s Columbine or recent mass shootings in Las Vegas or Parkland, Florida, the fundamental issue is that the people behind these tragedies were able to obtain extremely deadly firearms, from handguns to assault rifles to weapons modified with devices like bump stocks. This is what let the shooters carry out such awful atrocities.

All of those words, and for what?

To conceal the real issue - their problem is FREEDOM.

Freedom to act lawfully and peacefully, and freedom to act violently and criminally.

But make no mistake - they know that getting rid of guns won't end the violent criminal behavior. What it WILL do is eliminate our liberty. And they know that, too.

In plain point of fact, that is their goal.

55% of mass shootings are done with handguns.
There's been a couple of school shootings where shotguns were used; I predict that if we do get another AWB, shotguns will see much more use. They are DEADLY weapons.
It's the psychopaths we allow to go untreated and free in society, not the guns.
The Parkland High School shooter in Florida should have been arrested and confined LONG BEFORE that school shooting.

STOP TRYING TO BAN THE GUNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 QUOTES TO REMEMBER
For, in principle, there is no difference between a law prohibiting the wearing of concealed arms, and a law forbidding the wearing such as are exposed; and if the former be unconstitutional, the latter must be so likewise. But it should not be forgotten, that it is not only a part of the right that is secured by the constitution; it is the right entire and complete, as it existed at the adoption of the constitution; and if any portion of that right be impaired, immaterial how small the part may be, and immaterial the order of time at which it be done, it is equally forbidden by the constitution. [Bliss vs. Commonwealth, 12 Ky. (2 Litt.) 90, at 92, and 93, 13 Am. Dec. 251 (1822)
