FULL TEXT BELOW:
Hunting season is upon us, and as activity increases with firearms, so can firearm-related accidents increase.
Learn how to securely store firearms while picking up a free gunlock at the Sheriff's office in the Hand County Courthouse.
Free gunlocks are provided by Project ChildSafe, a program developed by the National Shooting Sports Foundation and funded by a grant from the United States Department of Justice. Leaving an unattended, loaded firearm in a home or vehicle is not safe or wise. Protect yourself, your guests and your family from a tragic accident by securely storing firearms. It can save your life and the lives of ones you love. |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
As civil rulers, not having their duty to the people before them, may attempt to tyrannize, and as the military forces which must be occasionally raised to defend our country, might pervert their power to the injury of their fellow citizens, the people are confirmed by the article in their right to keep and bear their private arms. — Tench Coxe in `Remarks on the First Part of the Amendments to the Federal Constitution' under the Pseudonym "A Pennsylvanian" in the Philadelphia Federal Gazette, June 18, 1789 at 2 col. 1. |
