“I saw this morning that Donald Trump has lambasted the French for their strict gun control laws, stating that, ‘If the people so violently shot down in Paris had guns, at least they would have had a fighting chance.’”

“He’s right, to a point, but he doesn’t understand the basic fact that French citizens don’t want a fighting chance. That’s too much personal responsibility for them to bear.”

“For the French to have ‘a fighting chance,’ Trump would first have to get it into the heads of French civilians that armed self-defense is something imperative to the security of both their nation, and imperative to the security of their individual lives. that free speech walk was hilarious, some of the most despot dictators were walking arm in arm: Turkey's Erdogan, who jails more journalists than any other country, Russia's sub cabinet guy, who still have journalists in jail and even have been murdered, and several muslim or socialist/communist others...
the imported jihadi children in french schools refused to partake in the 'moment of silence' activity for the terror victims because "they're parents told them that the victims got what they deserved, they had it coming, and they shouldn't have insulted the prophet" mohomud... send them either back to home country or dump in former french colony..even Brigette Bardot had it right and like Charlie Hebdo...Was In Court defending herself agai

 QUOTES TO REMEMBER
Besides the advantage of being armed, which the Americans possess over the people of almost every other nation, the existence of subordinate governments, to which the people are attached, and by which the militia officers are appointed, forms a barrier against the enterprises of ambition, more insurmountable than any which a simple government of any form can admit of. Notwithstanding the military establishments in the several kingdoms of Europe, which are carried as far as the public resources will bear, the governments are afraid to trust the people with arms. — James Madison, The Federalist Papers, No. 46
