"Gov. Christie described his political philosophy, including his beliefs that Second Amendment and other individual rights are derived from God, in front of a crowd Tuesday that included several people he grew up with."

"At a town-hall-style meeting in a packed community center in Morris County, the Republican governor - who said he would decide on a 2016 presidential campaign in 'the next three months' - responded to a question from a gun-rights supporter by saying his authority to change existing state laws was limited."...

As a NJ resident I'll note our governor has had multiple opportunities to clear the decks for some of NJ's most egregious examples of bureaucratic overreach. He's failed so far.

(Round Two)
Nor has Governor Christie addressed the traditional "sandbagging" of the (severely underfunded) NJ Pension public worker pension system by political wheel horses. A nefarious practice where the politically-connected are rewarded for years of sitting on obscure boards and committees for a pittance - provided they perform on cue - are rewarded with a short-term high paying sinecure to elevate their pension payments. A practice that would leave the system underfunded even without the traditionally gubernatorial practice of "robbing" the pension system by not paying the state's share.

Krispy Cream cannot control what goes into or out of his mouth. Yet he wants to control the whole US in the NJ image.

I wouldn't p*** on Christie if he was on fire.
Dammit, I'm not even a US citizen but I can smell his BS & hypocrisy all the way over on this side of the Pond.
This toad will do a Brutus on gun owners the moment it is politically & financially profitable to do so & it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest were he to attempt to emulate Bloomberg at some point in the future.

 QUOTES TO REMEMBER
No one can read our Constitution without concluding that the people who wrote it wanted their government severely limited; the words "no" and "not" employed in restraint of government power occur 24 times in the first seven articles of the Constitution and 22 more times in the Bill of Rights. — EDMUND A. OPITZ
