"An off-duty New York City police officer was arrested Saturday in Elmhurst after an argument with the mother of the officer's 2-year-old child turned briefly dangerous, police said."
"Police said the officer, Anthony Mahepath, 36, and his child's mother were having a dispute when she went to take the 2-year-old girl from the backseat of his car. Just then, police said, Mahepath tried pulling away. Mahepath was arrested, charged with harassment and reckless endangerment and suspended from the force. Police described the dispute as 'domestic in nature' and no one was hurt." ... |
