The President is correct that Americans have a right to bear arms — under the Second Amendment to our Constitution — but that right should be repealed. And true, changing the Supreme Law of the Land provides no guarantee that the new laws will be followed, any more than the current laws, but anything that reduces the number of guns and rifles at large is a good thing.
It is also true that people, not guns, pull the trigger. But if the gunman at Virginia Tech had been armed with a knife, fewer people would have been killed. |

--But if the gunman at Virginia Tech had been armed with a knife, fewer people would have been killed.-- Killing fewer people is O.K. But having someone with a Concealed weapons permit who could have STOPPED this early on, is NOT |

| What I saw on TV was without doubt the most cowardly, dispickable action (or NON-ACTION) by those cops. I listened to gunshot after gunshot and saw fat, out of shape men (and old women) with guns outside the building hiding their worthless butts behind anything they could find. Just sickening. Instead of using their 'skills' and actually preventing more disarmed students from death THEY DIDN'T DO A DAMN THING. I truly would be ashamed to call myself a cop. The USA would be better off without them. Police, THIS WAS A DISPICKABLE DAY FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT. COWARDS! |

| An inalienable Right CANNOT be "repealed". Especially when it was enacted with the words "shall NOT be infringed". It is a PRE-EXISTENT NATURAL RIGHT. One long considered as the First Law of Nature. Which laws, are the very basis of our intended government. |

| The cops were cowards IMHO. I would have gotten in there right away and not waited for all the others ti get ready and in position. People are dying. I would have gotten in there and tried to kill that guy. |

This "dude" tries to be so civil, and appear so reasonable. What he is advocating is, that each of us, me, you, himself, should just cower in fear when attacked. He seems to think no human life is worth defending.
He is truely a pitiable individual. He is an example of what is worst in this country.May God show more mercy on his soul, than he would show to me ........... |

To the writer of the above statement: F(*K YOU! You want my guns, YOU come and take them. Don't send some poor federal, state, county, or city employee to do your dirty work. Let's see what you REALLY believe. YOU come take them. See how far you get. |

A high-level Federal Court declares the DC gun ban unconsitutional on 2A grounds.
A couple of weeks later, the worst school shooting occurs.
Coincidence?
Or can you say "Black Ops"?

"But if the gunman at Virginia Tech had been armed with a knife, fewer people would have been killed."'
But if only the government has guns they can kill millions of us, as governments did repeatedly just in the last century alone. If the killer had been unable to get a gun, he might have used a bomb and killed hundreds more, or used gasoline as in the worst mass murder in US history where 80 people were killed in a nightclub in NYC with a gallon of gasoline. Just because this event fits neatly into the political agenda of the political left, doesn't mean their ideas are any more sensible. I don't like the idea of being disarmed by law while waiting to be killed by either a government death squad or a mass murderer. |

No one could shoot back. No one said "Let's roll!" and rushed the gunmen in a group. The cops will be here any second to save us... And so they were executed in a locked room, crying and screaming. My heart breaks. So conditioned are we that violence is always wrong that violence that is totally wrong and evil... wins. Thanks to people like this writer. I think we'll see some kind of legislation, and it may have the momentum to pass. I'll ignore it, how about you? I'm not the problem. |

These gun prohibitionists are the ENEMY treat them as the ENEMY,
DEFEAT them; OVER-COME them.
Facts do not matter to these FOOLS.
You should have heard the women that called in to Coast to Coast last night, the Dumb bitch wanted total gun control and made up facts about gun crime. She was totally Nuts.

THE WORST VICTIM DISARMAMENT TRAGEDY IN US HISTORY
You will never see those words as headlines !!!!
How big does tragedy have to get to wake up the Anti's???
I feel Luby's reatuarant, Columbine and now Virginia Tech are perfect examples examples of gun contol. Only the bad guy had a gun.
"You won't get gun control by disarming law-abiding citizens. There's only one way to get real gun control: Disarm the thugs and the criminals, lock them up, and if you don't actually throw away the key, at least lose it for a long time... It's a nasty truth, but those who seek to inflict harm are not fazed by gun controllers. I happen to know this from personal experience." ---Ronald Reagan, 1983

| My family has defended the Constition for over 100 years and will continue to do so. If you do not want to carry a gun don't but as for me I will now and forever defend the right to bear arms. Take away a persons guns and only criminals will have them and I will be a criminal. I will use a gun to defend my family from the scum that would takee what I worked so hard to buy. I refuse to give up my guns and let the world come in on top of me. |

| By the logic of the writer, since airplanes were used on 9/11 to kill 3k people, then we should outlaw airplanes. Since Balloons couldn't do as much damage. Since cars have been used to plow into crowds of people, only having bicycles would make the world safer. Those are not protected by the Constitution, but we would never conceive of going to that extreme. You can't outlaw crazy and somebody with the mindset of the Virginia Tech killer will always find a way. |

A Romanian Jewish immigrant who survived the Holocaust was the professor killed at Tech yesterday. He bought time for students to escape his classroom through the widows by blocking the door with his body until Cho shot him through the door and killed him. Maybe he was spared decades ago to spare some young people's lives yesterday -- and to teach us all a lesson about unlikely heroes and government-mandated helplessness. We will not submit. We will not surrender one further yard of ground hallowed with heroes' blood. Let tyrants be warned. |

IF FOUR OR FIVE STUDENTS AND TEACHERS HAD BEEN ARMED, THEN A LOT OF LIVES COULD HAVE BEEN SAVED. I'VE BEEN IN COUNTRYS THAT DON'T ALLOW CITIZENS TO HAVE GUNS. NO WAY I'M GOING TO LIVE LIKE THAT. THE MAN WITH THE GUN IS ALWAYS IN CHARGE. THE DREAM OF THE UN IS TO DISARM THE AMERICAN CITIZEN. THAT'S THE ONLY THING STANDING BETWEEN THEM AND A ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT. CHECK THE STATISTICS IN AUSTRALIA ON HOW THE CRIME RATE ROSE, IN SOME CASES, 800%, WHEN ALL GUNS WERE CONFISCATED. CRIMINALS WON'T TURN IN THEIR GUNS, AND I WON'T EITHER. I'M WILLING TO DIE TO PROTECT MY RIGHT TO OWN GUNS. WONDER HOW MANY ARE WILLING TO DIE TRYING TO TAKE IT? |

The following was written by a very prominent world leader, "For the first time our civilized nation now has full gun confiscation. Our families won't have to worry, our streets will be safer, our police will be more efficient and the world will follow our great lead into the future". February 1935 - Adolf Hitler |

THIS WAS A TRAGEDY! IT COULD HAVE BEEN STOPPED! NOT BY GUN CONTROL LAWS, BUT BY THE HEALTHCARE SYSTEM. WHEN THEY KNEW THAT CHO WAS A THREAT TOO SOCIETY, HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN COMMITTED TO A MENTAL HOSPITAL!!! NOW ALL THE IDIOTS ARE GOING TO COME OUT OF THE WOODWORK & DEMAND STRICTER GUN CONTROL LAWS. THAT WON'T STOP A CRIMINAL/CRAZY PERSON!!! THEY WILL STILL GET AND USE GUNS AND THE HONEST PEOPLE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DEFEND THEMSELVES!!!
My wife & I are gun owners. We both have concealed carry permits. She & I intend to always carry concealed to protect ourselves & any defenseless people from criminals/crazies!!! If I had been on the VA Tech campus that day, I would have been defending the innocent, not cowering behind cars! GBTIV! |
