"A half-dozen cities might follow New York's lead and conduct their own undercover sting operations to disrupt illegal gun sales, a senior mayoral aide disclosed yesterday."
"'There are a number of cities that want to emulate what we've done,' John Feinblatt, Mayor Bloomberg's criminal justice coordinator, said at a breakfast sponsored by Ladies Home Journal." ... -------
KABA Note: These 'stings' are what the DOJ was referring to when it said "... civilian efforts can unintentionally interrupt or jeopardize ongoing criminal investigations" in a letter rebuking Bloomberg. |

Welcome to the United States of New York City, Mayor Michael Bloomberg, President.
I live in New York State, so this doesn't surprise me. What does surprise me, is that 48 other states, with the exception of Virginia, are putting up with Bloomberg's attacks. Seems to me we learned nothing about the effects of pacifism from 9/11 or the recent Vtech incident. Either people fight back against the predations of terrorists, mass murderers and rogue billionaires, or we are all going to suffer. |

Why is Congress not jumping down his throat? The power to regulate interstate commerce is enumerated solely for the federal legislature. Not some tin-pot dictator from New Dork City.
Why is the ATF not raiding his mansion and setting fire to it?
One set of rules for the nobility and another for us peons. |

I just want Bloomberg to know that if I am ever in NYC, I might be conducting sting operations covering, you know, whatever.
How can these clowns even suggest their activities are legal? |

Bloomberg and his conspirators need to be federally prosecuted for their crimes. (conspiracy, straw purchases, harassment and obstruction of justice to name a few).
The attorneys that aided those acts need to be disbarred.
All of those proceeding need to be done very publicly.

Virginia's attorney general has informed Bloomberg in no uncertain terms that the state of Virginia will enforce its own unconstitutional gun laws without any outside help, thank you very much. Moreover, Gov. Kaine's executive order declaring certain classes of people who've EVER in their lives been court-ordered to have mental health treatment on a par with violent felons prohibited from owning guns is referred to as a "gun rights law." I sure am glad to live in "the most lax gun law state in America." |

Bloomberg's own spokesman Jason Post says NYC police confiscated 6,108 guns last year. Gee, that's a lot when the law says there aren't supposed to be ANY. Obviously someone's ignoring the New York state, city and county gun laws. Severely. Post said 86% of those guns came from out of state. Of course they did, if you have a snowball's chance of getting a license to buy one under NY law. What Post DIDN'T say was how many were stolen from citizens by police and how many were taken from criminals. There's a difference. |

| Mayor Blomberg should be recalled, He evidently hasn`t read or doesn`t pay attention to "The Bill of Rights" It gives us the Citizens of this country to keep and bear arms for our own defense. For that he should be recalled or FIRED. Emma Rohrbach |
