Today's 5 Minute Activism

 

Pick one place you do business with. Maybe it's a copy shop, a donut shop, a local mom and pop restaurant, whatever.

Call them today, and ask to speak to the manager.  Find out if they support the right of women to refuse to be raped and beaten.  They will have to say yes.  Ask them how a woman should defend herself against two guys with knives.  Lead the conversation until you get to your point: 

"Do you support my right to keep and bear arms to protect myself and my loved ones? My future business with you rides on your answer."

Make sure you're talking to a decision maker.  Though this won't work with a large chain whose policies are set at a corporate level, it will work with small, independent businesses.

You should be able to do this in less than 5 minutes.  You might even be able to do two in five minutes.
