Subject: Funeral Director Shooting Article

Dear Sir:
I am very disappointed in the headline you chose regarding the attack on Funeral Director John Harmon III.

Exchange of bullets hospitalizes teen

Hit by return fire, he is in serious condition. A funeral home owner shot in the shoulder goes to work the next day.

From the main headline you would think it is TWO thugs fighting it out, rather than a law-abiding citizen protecting his life and property against a vicious mugger. Heck, you could even think that the law-abiding citizen tried to mug the teen.

Here is my suggestion for a more honest and truthful headline:

Armed Citizen protects own life - illegally armed mugger hospitalized

or, try this....

Citizen protects life, property with legal firearm.

or maybe...

Armed mugger shot by Armed Citizen - Citizen returns to work, mugger in hospital

even this is better...

Cowardly teen attacks citizen - teen hospitalized after citizen protects himself

Please try to do better by your readers by promoting articles in an open, honest, and truthful manner.
