Another Clinton lie gives more proof of
disarmament agenda (article published in LSAS's "The
Liberty Pole" magazine) Poor little Billy Clinton just can't make himself tell the truth. If he weren't in a
position to do the country so much harm he would just be a sad, white trash pathological
liar. In this case though, the original deception was coldly engineered and smoothly
executed by Clinton with the help of accomplices in the US Congress and his own remarkable
psychological defects—the utter lack of conscience and morality. In this case, the deception is in claiming that the national instant check
system—or NICS, the immediate phone-linked computer background check of a potential
gun buyer's criminal record—was intended to replace the Brady law's onerous
five day waiting period, during which the background check was to be conducted by less
sophisticated means. But lo and behold, Clinton's going to try to get the waiting period
reinstated in addition to the instant check system. Says he wants Congress to pass
a law that requires a wait of several days. Those who are surprised at being deceived and
then betrayed by Clinton in regard to this matter are either dumb or amazingly gullible Here's what Clinton had to say: "This cooling-off period will help prevent rash
acts of violence and give authorities more time to stop illegal gun purchasers." Of
course, now that the instant check system is in place "authorities" only need
about two seconds—the time it takes to read a computer screen and tell the customer
"No dice"--to stop an illegal gun purchase. But that's not relevant. Never was.
The basic idea is still the same--to harass and intimidate gun owners and gun buyers. On a related front, Clinton chastised the NRA for recently filing suit in federal court
against the FBI . In conjunction with the instant check system, the FBI has established a
national registry of gun buyers in violation of current U.S. law and of the privacy rights
of Americans. Of course, these are nit-picking violations for an administration that
slaughters members of undesirable religious sects and sells military technology to our
greatest potential enemy in return for campaign contributions. In response, the FBI says
that they will only keep the records for six months or less, so that they can audit the
gun purchases to make sure they're legal. Seriously ladies and gentlemen--do you believe
the records will be destroyed as the law requires? If you do, please see the last sentence
in the third paragraph of this article. Although the FBI is clearly violating U.S. law, Clinton chose not to vent his anger at
the Bureau, but oddly enough at a private organization that was trying, in a perfectly
proper manner, to get the FBI to obey the law. "They'll stop at nothing to gut the
Brady law and undermine our efforts to keep more guns from falling into the wrong
