Aren't Glendale Justices of the Peace required to know something of the law? I quote:

13-3102:
Misconduct involving weapons; defenses; classification; definitions (in pertinent part)
A. A person commits misconduct involving weapons by knowingly:
2. Carrying a deadly weapon without a permit pursuant to section 13-3112 concealed within immediate control of any person in or on a means of transportation; ...
F. Subsection A, paragraph 2 of this section shall not apply to a weapon or weapons carried in a case, holster, scabbard, pack or luggage which is carried within a means of transportation or within a storage compartment, trunk or glove compartment of a means of transportation.

The Arizona State Constitution further states the following:

Section 26. The right of the individual citizen to bear arms in defense of himself or the state shall not be impaired, but nothing in this section shall be construed as authorizing individuals or corporations to organize, maintain, or employ an armed body of men.
