If you are a commercial pilot or general contractor likely you understand the value of licensing; So why not license gun owners? Tell me I’m wrong. Yesterday, New Jersey Sen. Corey Booker dropped out of the race for U.S. President. The Democrat simply wasn’t getting any traction in the polls. And this is too bad. He was the only candidate pushing hard on a plausible facet of gun legislation: Gun owner licensing.

All police officers in Kentucky schools would be required to be armed under newly filed legislation – a mandate that, if passed, would supersede the desires of some Jefferson County Board of Education members to keep guns out of schools. Senate Bill 8, filed Monday by Sen. Max Wise, R-Campbellsville, would amend Kentucky's 2019 school safety law, which called for a trained resource officer at each of the state's nearly 1,500 public schools.

Liberalism, progressivism, Democratic Party — they represent a normal part of each of us: a normal part, but mostly a dark, enfeebling, and destructive one. They represent the longing in each of us, to varying degrees, to remain a child.

An overzealous and wicked witch of the Twittersphere deliberately, savagely, and ungraciously politicized the tragic death of a father-daughter hunting tandem mistaken for deer in the South Carolina wilderness, and freedom loving Americans are not too thrilled with the despicable and heartless gesture.

An alleged owner of a Seattle establishment spewed the vile tweet, of course now deleted thanks to the impeccable memory of the internet servers, sparking a viral outrage and begging the question are social networks the most destructive and time burglar innovations in tearing the concept of humanity and decency to unrecognizable chunks of immoral hate?

In an industry where polymer-frame models make up the lion’s share of the handgun marketplace, there are still plenty of shooters who believe in the classic styling that only an all-metal gun can deliver. Metal guns are known for better recoil mitigation, balance and, some might even argue, peace of mind. Staying true to its machining lineage, Kimber America expanded its line in late 2018 with the addition of a new subcompact pistol, the EVO SP, the company’s first crack at a striker-fired pistol since the ill-fated Solo. In 2019, the EVO SP ended up as one of our Editor's Picks, and we outline the reasons why here. As of press time, five variants of the EVO SP are offered, and our test gun is an example of the CS (Custom Shop) version.

A Texas man licensed to carry a handgun fatally shot one of three suspects during a botched armed robbery at a home cookout Friday night, investigators said.

The three unidentified suspects approached the front yard where guests were socializing and attempted to rob them at gunpoint. Two of the suspects had handguns, police told FOX4 Dallas-Fort Worth.

An unnamed man, who was a licensed handgun carrier visiting the residence, drew his weapon and shot one suspect, police said in the release. The two other suspects escaped and remain at-large.

The pointed soft-point bullet is a popular bullet type used in dozens of lines of hunting ammo. Manufacturers range from cheap factories you might not be familiar with, to premium lines like the Remington CoreLokt. The pointed tip gives shooters a flatter trajectory at long ranges compared to the basic soft tip, and experienced long range hunters can appreciate any advantage they can get.

On Wednesday, January 8, West Virginia state Senator Charles Trump (R-15) introduced Senate Bill 96, which would further expand statewide preemption to include more tools for self-defense, not just firearms. Senate Bill 96 would prevent any municipality in West Virginia from attempting to limit what tools law abiding citizens can use for self-defense so long as they are in accordance with state law. This preemption legislation will prevent a patchwork of laws throughout the state that could potentially and unknowingly turn a law-abiding citizen into a criminal.

Virginia Rising Against The Advancing Political Sickness

Most gun owners know Mao's quote, but few remember the entire statement. Mao wrote, “Every Communist must grasp the truth; Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun.” You can bet that US democrats fully understand this truth and so, hysterically, fear weapons possessed by the voting civilians who have educated themselves about the failures of leftwing societies. Our Founding Fathers knowingly stole that possibility of a violent coup from any group who might have hopes of trying. We may willingly give away our sovereignty, but it cannot be taken from us.

For years, the 5.7x28 mm cartridge was a unique option that only a few enthusiasts enjoyed. Part of the reason for this limited fan following is that few guns were chambered for the round, since the small-caliber, high-velocity cartridge was purpose-built for a select few guns, notably the FN America FiveSeven and P90. However, several other companies have rolled out gun in the 5.7x28 mm, including Ruger and CMMG, and Speer Ammo now offers new fodder in the form of its Gold Dot personal-protection load.

 QUOTES TO REMEMBER
The right of the people to keep and bear arms has been recognized by the General Government; but the best security of that right after all is, the military spirit, that taste for martial exercises, which has always distinguished the free citizens of these States....Such men form the best barrier to the liberties of America — Gazette of the United States, October 14, 1789.
