Among our elected representatives are far too many willing to lie, cheat and steal to enrich themselves and further anti-American interests. There are also others who are historical illiterates, who know little or nothing about American history, the Constitution or our representative republic. Those Democrats/socialists/communists (D/s/cs) who insist on calling America “our democracy” rather than our representative republic are choosing that formulation not necessarily because they know the difference, but because they do know how to support current D/s/c narratives. |

Democrats held a hearing on bump stocks while they were still in the majority in the U.S. Senate. A hearing was held on Nov. 13 in the U.S. Senate on firearms laws that focused on bump stocks. Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL), a perennial supporter of banning guns, was adamant that something should be done to keep semi-automatic firearms from being converted into “illegal machine guns.”

Four people who can legally possess firearms in their home state but are not allowed to carry them when crossing into New York have filed a legal challenge in federal court. The case filed last week has four individual plaintiffs who are residents of states near New York and often visit the state for business or on common everyday tasks such as shopping. While upstanding adults in their home states – and in many cases with active carry permits where they live – they are not even allowed to apply for a permit to carry in New York, much less practice their right to keep and bear arms when traveling about the Empire State. |

As a kid, I never wondered what ammo my dad was loading when we’d go out to the range. All I knew at the time was that he’d put a couple of ammo cans in the back of his 1979 F-150 (we called it the Beast), put his SKS behind the seat, and we’d head out to the range. When the ammo shortages hit the USA, I asked him what was in all of those ammo cans (I wanted the inventory we had back in the day), and he said, “Golden Tiger.” |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
No kingdom can be secured otherwise than by arming the people. The possession of arms is the distinction between a freeman and a slave. He, who has nothing, and who himself belongs to another, must be defended by him, whose property he is, and needs no arms. But he, who thinks he is his own master, and has what he can call his own, ought to have arms to defend himself, and what he possesses; else he lives precariously, and at discretion. — James Burgh, Political Disquisitions: Or, an Enquiry into Public Errors, Defects, and Abuses [London, 1774-1775]. |
