The worst by far is a bill filed in both the House and Senate that would eliminate all “gun-free” zones in the state. If passed, persons with concealed-weapons permits would be able to carry firearms to pro sports events, bars, police stations, K-12 public schools, public colleges and universities, courthouses, polling places, government meetings, seaports and airport passenger terminals.

Submitters note: Another anti-gun reporter with an agenda. Blood in the streets predictions have not happened anywhere and won't happen in Florida.

The homeowner, Nasser Hamad, 47, is charged with two counts of aggravated murder and several counts of attempted aggravated murder and could get the death penalty if convicted. He’s accused of shooting the five Feb. 25 after they came to his house on state Route 46 because of earlier conflicts.

Just over a week after Gov. Sununu repealed the concealed carry bill, dozens rallied in frigid temperatures to celebrate their right to bear arms. Legislative Director of Women's Defense League of NH Susan Olsen took to the mic to welcome everyone to the 3rd Annual Gun Rights Rally at the State House Saturday. One by one advocates of the second amendment were called up to the mic. They each told a different story, all with the same point — the right to carry is a constitutional right, and they were proud to point out that New Hampshire is one of 15 states to honor that.

When street-gang thieves slipped with ease into a Norfolk Southern rail yard on Chicago’s South Side and ripped locks off one train, they likely expected to see merchandise like toys or tennis shoes. What they beheld instead was a gangster’s jackpot: box after box of brand new guns. The guns had been en route from New Hampshire weapon maker Sturm, Ruger & Co. to Spokane, Wash. Instead, the .45-caliber Ruger revolvers and other firearms spread quickly into surrounding high-crime neighborhoods. Along with two other major gun thefts within three years, the robbery helped fuel a wave of violence on Chicago’s streets.

It seems that no matter where you go across small town America you will run into local shooting clubs that are historically at the heart of American sportsmen and women. People who hunt, shoot clay birds, archery, trap, and often shoot competitively have a place in our culture. They are the heart and soul of conservation, wildlife management and most importantly, raising money for land acquisition for wildlife and shooting sports. In most cases the clubs themselves are not as involved as their members are in national organizations that are designed to save wild places and wild critters.
