That was the critique from the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms following Biden’s disastrous performance during the CNN Presidential debate against former President Donald Trump. It was a 90-minute debacle for the aging Delaware Democrat, and it is having a shockwave effect across the liberal landscape.

During my police days in the 90s, an evolution took place in the application of the use of force. Earlier, police weapons were divided into “nonlethal” and “lethal” categories. Firearms, obviously, were lethal, but everything else, such as batons and pepper sprays, were “nonlethal.” Officer all carried knives, which can surely be lethal, but they were more or less ignored as they were thought to be mere cutting tools which were not intended to be used as weapons.

Ruger’s bolt-action centerfire American rifle represents the company’s budget entry into the hunting and shooting market. But don't mistake affordability for low performance. That has never been truer than it is now with the introduction of the fully featured American Gen II.

 QUOTES TO REMEMBER
After having thus successively taken each member of the community in its powerful grasp and fashioned him at will, the supreme power then extends its arm over the whole community. It covers the surface of society with a network of small, complicated rules, minute and uniform, through which the most original minds and the most energetic characters cannot penetrate, to rise above the crowd. The will of man is not shattered, but softened, bent, and guided; men seldom forced by it to act, but they are constantly restrained from acting. Such a power does not destroy, but it prevents existence; it does not tyrannize, but it compresses, enervates, extinguishes, and stupefies a people, till each nation is reduced to nothing better than a flock of timid and industrious animals, of which the government is the shepherd. — Alexis de Tocqueville
