You should contact your representative & ask that they oppose it as well as any other upcoming efforts towards national firearms licensing. The full text of HR 45 is available here. According to Shooter's in Columbus, folks are buying gun, lots of them

Jon McMullen of Shooter's says ever since Obama was elected, gun sales have been on the up and up. He says business at his store is up 40-60% across the board.

He says folks are scared that gun legislation will tighten up. Not so fast says Alice Pate. She is the former chair of Muscogee County democratic party. She says Obama has said repeatedly, he supports the second amendment.
