When we compare the two cartridges’ power on paper, the 10mm blows the 40 S&W out of the water. Lt. Col. Jeff Cooper designed the 10mm to exhibit better external ballistics than the 45 ACP, and the 40 Smith & Wesson was more or less designed by weakening the 10mm. |

I suppose I am conservative when it comes to defensive handguns. While I may miss out on the occasional really good pistol by being conservative I am able to deploy proven reliable handguns. Rost Martin is a new company that has gained my respect since the introduction of the pace setting RM1C a compact 9mm handgun. The RM1C is similar in size to the Glock 19 making it ideal for concealed carry. |

Kimber kicked off SHOT Show week with the launch of a new high-capacity double-stack 1911 platform designed to provide modern features at a more accessible price point than similar designs like the company’s popular 2K11 line. Made in the USA at Kimber’s Troy, Alabama factory, the 1911 DS Warrior is Kimber’s answer to shooters who “wanted a true Kimber 1911 experience in a high-capacity, value-driven package.”

TO REMEMBER |
| There are other things so clearly out of the power of Congress, that the bare recital of them is sufficient, I mean the "...rights of bearing arms for defence, or for killing game..." These things seem to have been inserted among their objections, merely to induce the ignorant to believe that Congress would have a power over such objects and to infer from their being refused a place in the Constitution, their intention to exercise that power to the oppression of the people. —ALEXANDER WHITE (1787) |
