During the 2020 riots that ravaged our country for most of the summer, Americans bought guns at a rate never before seen. Even non-gun owners, and often, anti-gunners decided it was time to shed their anti-gun views and get smart about self-defense. In 2017 the Ilion, New York plant employed some 700 personnel with 200 making the Marlin lineup. Sturm, Ruger, & Co bought the Marlin line and hopefully will be producing it somewhere. Currently, Richmond Italia has retained 200 hourly employees to make Remington Arms. The catalog will be sporting arms exclusively. Firearms made for military contracts are not expected. Tomorrow at 9:00am, the Senate Judiciary is expected to take Executive Action on Permitless Carry Legislation, House Bill 102. Please contact committee members and ask that they SUPPORT House Bill 102 with ONLY Rep. Berglee’s Amendment. House Bill 102 will strengthen Montana’s self-defense laws by allowing law-abiding Montana gun owners to carry a firearm for self-defense throughout the state without first having to obtain a government mandated permit to do so. Further, this bill will remove some of Montana’s “gun-free zones” from the list of prohibited places and stop the unnecessary disarming of Montanans as they go about their day-to-day lives. |

Olympic dreams began early for Arkansas native Kayle Browning.
“I never was an ice skater or a gymnast but that’s kind of where the fire came from for the Olympics,” said Browning.
So instead of trying something she didn’t know much about, she turned to what she was good at — shooting shotguns.
“As a young child she was a very talented shooter,” said her father Tommy.
Fast forward several years, Browning has moved from talented to the U.S. Olympic Team in Tokyo.
“It’s pretty surreal, I mean it’s something I’ve chased for a very long time,” she said.
While many athletes across the world are having to delay training because of COVID-19, Kayle has a regulation Olympic shooting range in her backyard. |

Introduced in 1980, the 9x21mm IMI was a creation between the Franco Benvenuti agency of Italy and Israel Military Industries (IMI). Many countries, including Italy and most of the European Union, have banned the use of all military ammunition, such as the 9mm Parabellum.
