Senate Republicans are returning fire on criticism they are blocking a gun package deal. Senate GOP spokeswoman Kelly Cummings just issued a statement pointing the blame squarely at the Assembly Democrats for what she says is their refusal to consider tougher criminal penalties for the illegal use of guns.

The American Family Association, a Christian organization which claims to follow the pacifist teachings of Jesus Christ, endorsed the use of assault weapons today. American Family Association spokesman Bryan Fischer said on his radio show today (video below) that modern-day assault weapons are the same kind of arms, rifles, assault weapons, military-style weapons that were used to defeat the British."

President of the National Assocation of Police Officers and Boston Police Officer Thomas Nee is a member of Vice President Joe Biden's gun control task force, which was created by President Obama in the aftermath of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. Nee's son, Joseph Nee, was convicted in 2008 for planning to commit mass murder of students and teachers at Marshfield High School in Massachusetts, similar to that of Columbine in 1999.

I don't know exactly what he did, but apparently there are a bunch of very nasty people who are very angry with him, Krafft continued. The kind of nasty who don't see it as overkill to rape and murder a man's family in front of him before they necklace him. His telephone, cars and home are all listed in his wife's maiden name, and he has worked very hard to stay off the radar. But, unsurprisingly, he has a gun permit and your White Plains paper just put his name and address out on the internet for anyone to see.
