LET'S GET PATRICK A PARDON ALREADY!! Publicity is the only way to get it. The wikipedia page about him keeps being changed to show the whopper of a lie that he was supposedly convicted for "illegal firearms." Everything he bought and sold is LEGAL AND AVAILABLE RIGHT NOW to buy and sell. This was a deep state trap and deep state prosecution before a deep state controlled judge. Someone is keeping Patrick's name and/or the truth from the president or he would have been pardoned by now. "Reporters" have been asking Trump about pardons for everyone else of course. More than 60 Pennsylvania 4-H members from across the state recently participated in shooting sports contests held at Penn State’s Ag Progress Days site, at the Scotia Barrens Range and at the Shenecoy Sportsmen Club in Huntingdon County.
The 4-H shooting sports program offers a positive and safe environment for youths who enjoy the outdoors and hunting. The program promotes best practices for the responsible use of firearms and archery equipment under the training and guidance of adult coaches.
Competitions are designed to challenge a 4-H member’s skill and knowledge and to recognize demonstrated abilities, marksmanship and concentration while fostering sound decision making and promoting safety, sportsmanship and ethical behavior. |

A convenience store employee took matters into her own hands when an armed man entered the store and ordered people out at gunpoint.
The incident happened in Indian River County.
Video shows the woman push the suspect out of the store after reaching into her purse and pulling out her own gun.
That armed suspect is identified as Calvert Allen.
The employee pointed a gun right at Allen’s face, and deputies say she began wrestling him for his gun in the parking lot |

Baltimore police are investigating a fatal shooting in Canton involving a jewelry store owner and a suspected burglar.
Officers responded to the 2200 block of Fleet Street near South Madeira Street around 2:15 a.m. Thursday and found a 39-year-old man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Police said the victim was unresponsive.
The shooting victim was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later, police said in a news release.
Police said the suspect broke through a window of the store Thursday morning before the owner apparently shot him.
Nearby residents said the shooting was self-defense after the suspect used a brick to break the window. |

After pleading guilty to bank fraud and filing a false income tax return in 2015, Selim Zherka was sentenced to 37 months in federal prison and three years of supervised release, plus fines, restitution, and forfeiture.
Although he completed his sentence in May 2020, he is still subject to an additional penalty: He is not allowed to exercise the constitutional right to armed self-defense.
The federal law imposing that disability, Zherka argues in a Supreme Court petition, is unconstitutional as applied to him because his criminal record does not suggest his possession of firearms would pose a danger to public safety. |

In yet another move against gun ownership, California Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom recently signed Assembly Bill 1127 into law, triggering immediate backlash from the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) and its partners. The ink was barely dry when, just three days later, SAF, the National Rifle Association (NRA), Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC), a licensed firearms retailer, and two individual plaintiffs filed suit, alleging the law is a direct assault on the Constitution.
Dubbed the “Glock Ban,” AB 1127 prohibits licensed dealers in California from selling semiautomatic pistols with cruciform trigger bars, which happen to include virtually all Glock models and Glock-style handguns. |

Let’s face it — your gun safe is boring. Mine too, for many of the same reasons I’ll explain. It’s full of matte-black polymer rifles, a few optics you bought because some guy on YouTube told you to, and a mountain of gizmos you don’t really need.

A North Huntingdon man’s attempt to sell guns in the family’s banquet facility was rejected by a zoning panel.
The North Huntingdon Zoning Hearing Board last week rejected an appeal from James Stratigos, owner of JGS Arms LLC, for an occupancy permit for a gun shop in a section of the Stratigos Banquet Centre. Officials said the property is in a residential zone and already contains a nonconforming use.

If the government treated us the way public schools treat students, we’d have had a new revolution a long time ago. Rights are mere suggestions on a high school campus, at least as many administrators see it. But they get away with some of that because things like lockers are school property.
But they also cross the line an awful lot, and a recent example has earned the ire of a prominent gun rights organization.
No, the student didn’t have a gun on his high school campus. That would be a crime, after all.

Brian Lupiani is rethinking his life-long relationship with Publix Supermarkets now that the grocery store chain is allowing customers to openly carry firearms in their stores.

On August 27, a unanimous panel of the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the conviction of a man who manufactured and possessed an unregistered silencer (or suppressor) in violation of the National Firearms Act (NFA). The case applies an interesting legal analysis to the NFA’s taxing and registration requirements by analogizing them to the objective, shall-issue concealed carry licensing that the Supreme Court approved in Bruen. Perhaps more importantly, the decision from perhaps the most right-leaning federal appellate court in the country suggests that federal judges are not likely to be receptive to broader efforts to invalidate the NFA’s regulatory framework. |

A New Hampshire teenager sued his former high school principal and others Thursday alleging they illegally searched his truck based solely on his status as a gun owner.
Jack Harrington, 18, graduated from Hillsboro-Deering High School in June, about two months after he says he was harassed and interrogated by school officials who subsequently found nothing when they searched his truck in the school parking lot. His lawsuit against the superintendent, principal, vice principal and school resource officer was filed in U.S. District Court by the Second Amendment Foundation. |

The full bench of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit heard oral arguments in a case challenging the constitutionality of New Jersey’s “assault weapons” and “large capacity” magazine ban.
The case, Cheeseman v. Platkin, is the first case heard by new appointees Jennifer Mascott and Emil Bove. Ms. Mascott was sworn in less than 24 hours before the case was heard, and Mr. Bove took the bench this past July. The addition of Mascott and Bove swung the makeup of the court from left-leaning to a conservative majority. Republicans hold eight seats compared to six seats held by Democrats.

Rev. Jenny Wells and some of the members of Central Presbyterian Church were nearby when the deadly shooting took place at the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl rally.
"That following Sunday, we talked about it in worship,” Wells said. "What does it mean for us to do something about this in our community? And what are we going to do about gun violence in our community?”
Wells, the pastor of the church, was familiar with Guns to Gardens, which first began in Colorado. The grassroots movement was spurred by the deadly Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Connecticut that killed 26 people, including 20 children. |

A federal appeals court upheld part of New York’s gun safety law that requires background checks for ammunition sales on Wednesday. The ruling by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit affirmed a lower court’s decision, denying the challenge to the Concealed Carry Improvement Act from gun rights advocates, including two Republican state legislators.
“New York State Firearms Association v. James” concerned aspects of the CCIA that took effect in September 2023 mandating that an ammunition sale has to include:
--A background check on the buyer; --A $2.50 fee per background check; and --The seller registering with the Superintendent of the New York State Police or using a licensed intermediary. |

A couple of weeks ago, I updated and discussed the latest involving the Supreme Court case Caleb Reese, ET AL. v. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives, ET AL, or the 18-20 Year Old Handgun Case. In it, the Federal Government presented an alternative proposal that would grant only declaratory relief for the plaintiffs (none of whom are currently under the age of 21, since the case has been ongoing since 2020). Since that update, the Fifth Circuit sent the case back to the Eastern District of Louisiana for Judgement. Unfortunately, in its ruling, the Eastern District ignored the larger reversal by the Fifth Circuit and instead followed the opinion of the Federal Government. |
