"Few shooters have ever matched Douglas Forrester's hot hand at political dice."

"An unprecedented streak of good luck has put the Republican on the cusp of winning a U.S. Senate seat, even though few voters know much about him."

Now that Torricelli has bailed on his candidacy and the Democrats have received state supreme court help in violating the law to change the ballot by adding former Senator Frank Lautenberg, people are looking at what Forrester is really all about.

"On most issues, Forrester takes the Republican Party position. He opposes more gun control laws and backs developing a missile defense system, strengthening intelligence agencies and making last year's income tax cuts permanent."

 QUOTES TO REMEMBER
There are other things so clearly out of the power of Congress, that the bare recital of them is sufficient, I mean the "...rights of bearing arms for defence, or for killing game..." These things seem to have been inserted among their objections, merely to induce the ignorant to believe that Congress would have a power over such objects and to infer from their being refused a place in the Constitution, their intention to exercise that power to the oppression of the people. —ALEXANDER WHITE (1787)
