The first 2/3 of Noonan's article is a review of events since 7 November, what we all know to be an attempt to steal this election. The final third is her answer to the question: "What are we to do?" Check the interesting response page too, including several from military folks and one from the Ukraine: "Get ready for counterrevolution against this coup." d'etat" |

Senator Bob Kerrey flapping his yams in Florida in no way represents Nebraskans on this issue. From the Omaha Herald: "Kerrey also called Bush's aides 'irresponsible,' 'grossly unfair' and 'reckless' for suggesting that Gore's ability to serve as commander in chief had been compromised." Waa waa. He hops off the plane and begins his partisan whining routine because junior called with a need. G. and S. also cover Navy Lt. Cmdr. Jack Daly's charges of treason in the C/G administration. |

No kingdom can be secured otherwise than by arming the people. The possession of arms is the distinction between a freeman and a slave. He, who has nothing, and who himself belongs to another, must be defended by him, whose property he is, and needs no arms. But he, who thinks he is his own master, and has what he can call his own, ought to have arms to defend himself, and what he possesses; else he lives precariously, and at discretion. — James Burgh, Political Disquisitions: Or, an Enquiry into Public Errors, Defects, and Abuses [London, 1774-1775]. |
