Craig did a sit-down interview with Local 4 on Monday in which he discussed kids and guns. It has been three years since the Sandy Hook mass shooting where unhinged gunman Adam Lanza killed 20 young children and six educators. An NBC News study found that since that school shooting a child is shot and killed in the United States every other day.

Craig is outspoken about Detroiters arming themselves for protection. He's also just as outspoken about gun owners being responsible.

An IRS worker in Massachusetts whose behavior caught the attention of Homeland Security was wearing tinfoil on his head when police arrested him and seized his guns, The Lowell Sun reported Thursday.

A judge ordered 46-year-old Roland Moore to give up his weapons and comply with mental health treatment Wednesday, according to the newspaper. He had recently met with IRS officials and a psychiatrist to discuss his mental health issues, court documents show.

Moore reportedly wore tinfoil under his cap when he encountered Tewksbury police Wednesday.

Authorities in Prince William County say no charges will be filed in the October stabbing of a Manassas man.

County police said Monday that after conferring with homicide investigators, Commonwealth’s Attorney Paul Ebert determined that the death of 48-year-old Stephen C. Brown was a case of self-defense.

The Alamogordo branch of New Mexico State University will no longer allow groups to rent its facilities to sell or give away guns.

The Alamogordo News reports that NMSU-A Interim President Dr. Ken Van Winkle announced the ban on Wednesday. It puts an end to the fundraiser gun shows that the Alamogordo Evening Lions Club and Western Frontier Gun Shows have been holding on the campus since 2011

Three years ago, the public learned of the most significant mass shooting in recent U.S. history involving the deaths of 20 young school children and seven adults. As a father of three, I immediately empathized with the parents, reminding myself there was no real way to fathom the sense of loss such an experience must involve.

Rep. Robert Cornejo, R-St. Peters, pre-filed two pieces of legislation that will expand gun rights across the state.

HB 1764 and HB 1765 are designed by Cornejo to, in his view, uphold the second amendment. HB 1765 would exempt firearms, their accessories and up to $1,500 worth of ammunition from seizure by creditors should the owners of the weapons and ammo fall into debt.
