Whether chambered for rimfires or a variety of centerfire cartridges ranging from .32 H&R Magnum to—believe it or not—.41 Magnum, my adventures with handguns from Charter Arms has been interesting, sometimes challenging, certainly educational and pretty darned noisy! |

Sometimes the universe dictates the timing of doing a show. I met Lauren Snyder at the Gun Rights Policy Conference in Phoenix in 2019. I was able to film a show with fellow Attorneys On Retainer employee, Sarah Riggle, RSWC #189, but we didn’t have time for Lauren. At GRPC in Salt Lake City in 2025, we made it happen. But we also got to have Joey Hamby, one of the AOR attorneys who specializes in self-defense cases. We’re also able to get it out just before they have an AOR conference in Mesa, AZ, in February 2026.

A measure introduced in the Missouri state Senate on February 9 is designed to protect the privacy of lawful gun owners and gun purchasers in the Show Me State. Senate Bill 216, the “Second Amendment Financial Privacy Act,” was introduced by Republican state Sen. Jill Carter and presented in the Senate Transportation, Infrastructure and Public Safety Committee. The measure would prohibit government entities from keeping a list, record or registry of privately-owned firearms.
