In a dramatic encounter that unfolded in the Homan Square neighborhood, a 28-year-old garbage truck driver, who is a licensed Concealed Carry License (CCL) holder, successfully defended himself against two armed robbers early Friday morning, resulting in one fatality (DRT shot in the head) and one critical injury. At approximately 5:15 a.m. on the 900 block of South Homan Avenue, near DRW College Prep, the driver was approached by two men during his shift. |

UPDATE: The Daily Mail, a British publication, is reporting that as many as ten people have been killed at a school shooting in Sweden. The UK-based news agency is also reporting that “terrifying new footage” of the attack in progress has surfaced, showing the alleged killer “pacing through the hallway of Risbergska School in Örebro’s Västhaga district.” |
