"Several days ago, the authorities of the town of Nelson in Georgia held a preliminary discussion of a draft law, which, if adopted, would order (not allow, but order) every family in the town to have at least one fire weapon. The draft law was unanimously okayed by all the town council’s members. The final voting for this law is scheduled for April, but it can be said already now that with such sentiments of the town’s authorities, the law will most likely be adopted."

They attribute it to a reduction in violent crime, which contradicts the media narrative that we need more gun control, and the increased rates of Americans settling in urban areas.
