The National Shooting Sports Foundation’s hand was forced when Reed Exhibitions decided, post-Newtown, that 'assault rifle' sellers would be persona non grata at another show they manage, the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show. ... KABA Note: Here's something else the internet is good for; providing the information (via CDC's WISQARS) that between 2001 and 2010 an average of 45 children (12 and under) a year died due to accidental gunshots.
Wanna know how many died in accidental falls? Almost twice as many; 84.3 per year. Accidentally drowned? 709.2 per year. Suffocated? 1011.3 per year.
Guns are not an issue here. |

"Officer Derek Carlile is a member of the IGOTD Hall Of Eternal Infamy, after leaving his .38 revolver in a car cup-holder with his unsupervised children. His three-year-old son promptly grabbed the gun and fatally shot Carlile’s seven-year-old daughter. TTAG has followed this sickening story from the very beginning.
