The Tueller Drill is one of those shooting drills that you probably thought about a million times, but you never really knew what it was called. Its pretty common to hear people inside the self-defense training community say something like, Most defensive encounters happen within 21 feet, so practice shooting close. In a nutshell, thats the Tueller Drill.

Boulder is considering a comprehensive gun bill that bans open carry in public places, among other things. (Denver, Colo.) Denver and Boulder are poised to toughen gun restrictions. Morris County law enforcement officials, in partnership with the state Attorney General's Office, will hold two gun buyback events this weekend to help reduce gun violence. "Every gun we will collect represents a gun taken off the streets. This is all about safety in our communities," said Morris County Sheriff James Gannon. "I applaud our partners at the state, county and local levels for helping ensure a successful program."

Gun Sales Are on the Decline, But Prices Remain High Everything is costing a bit more these days. The annual inflation rate hit 8.5 percent in March, the highest since December of 1981 and up from 7.9 percent in February. Inflation has more than doubled since March 2021. That has translated into higher prices for everyday goods, including food and gasoline, while consumer electronics and outdoor products have also been steadily rising in price.

The open tip match bullet (OTM) is primarily used as a target shooting ammo, hence the word match but what is match ammo? There seems to be a massive debate about this particular term (OTM), because it comes across as a hollow point when it's technically not, and it can cause some confusion. The military can use it because its technically not a hollow point, but some hunters cant because it is a hollow point. This is probably the most controversial term of any bullet currently in use today.

Have you noticed that compensated pistols are everywhere now? They are all over social media. It used to be that comps were solely in the competitive shooting world. However, they seem to be making their way to the general market. Today, even carry guns are sporting compensators or ports.
