KABA Note: If they really want to get rid of the 'loophole' (as opposed to shutting down gun shows), they should drop the price of a FFL to $5, remove criminal penalties for paperwork mistakes and let anyone who wants get one. Better yet, go back to the good old days, when you could plumk down your cash on the counter at the corner hardware store and walk out two minutes later with your new gun. No paperwork, no questions, no hassles. |

All the bills passed were introduced and sponsored by downstate politicians, the majority of them living in either New York City or Long Island.
