The state Department of Public Safety is preparing to implement one of the most controversial laws passed by the state Legislature this year - the Concealed Handgun Act.
In a written statement released Wednesday, the department announced it will begin accepting applications for concealed-weapons licenses Monday - though the licenses themselves will not be issued until Jan. 1.
Applications will be available at state police district offices. |
