Donald Trump suggested at a rally Tuesday afternoon that the "Second Amendment people" could do something about Hillary Clinton choosing judges if she is elected president, a comment some took to mean he was implying violence against the Democratic nominee. "If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks," he said at a rally in Wilmington, N.C., to boos from the crowd. "Although the Second Amendment people ... maybe there is, I don't know."

A handful of clergy and community leaders blasted Boston police union leaders Tuesday for demanding that patrol officers be armed with long guns, sayingthe request was racist and a “step in the wrong direction.” “We found the letter to be racist, unnecessary, and really overly aggressive to the city in general, the [police] commissioner, the mayor, and the black community,” the Rev. Mark Scott, associate pastor of Azusa Christian Community Church said in an interview Tuesday. “It doesn’t reflect the real on-the-ground conditions in the city of Boston or the hard work done by the community and the police.”

One of the best accounts to follow on Instagram belongs to the Transport Security Administration. It’s a never-ending list filled with photographic evidence that many people don’t understand basic rules of airline travel. However, over the weekend the TSA documented an atypical and horrifying discovery: a 3D-printed handgun with live rounds. Because they’re made of plastic or resin, simple metal detectors won’t spot 3D-printed guns. Also, 3D-printed guns can be easily broken apart, reassembled, and smuggled onto mass transportation, which the Daily Mail actually demonstrated in 2013. Add in the fact that the TSA hasn’t always scored very high when it comes to security tests, and you can see why some concern might be warranted.

It was not unanimous, but Kalamazoo Township has brought their rules on gun possession in line with state law on the county trail system that runs through the township. For the past several years, the township has technically been in violation of a state law that prevents local jurisdictions from enacting stricter gun controls. They banned guns from the trail.

Instead of allowing law abiding Americans the chance to easily acquire a firearm for self-defense, politicians and public officials in Chicago call for harsher anti-gun measures almost daily.
The anti-gun crowd refuses to accept reality and the fact that criminals don’t obey gun control laws. They would rather disarm law abiding citizens who accept and obey the law.
A recent study by the University of Chicago proved this point after conducting a study to figure out how criminals in Chicago were acquiring their firearms.
They learned zero criminals have used gun shows or the Internet to purchase their weapons.

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
...If a man lies under oath or procures the lie of another under oath, if he perjures himself or suborns perjury, he is guilty under the statute law. Under the higher law, under the great law of morality and righteousness, he is precisely as guilty if, instead of lying in a court, he lies in a newspaper or on the stump; and in all probability, the evil effects of his conduct are infinitely more widespread and more pernicious. — Teddy Roosevelt - May 12, 1900 |
