William Michael Kemp points out that the Constitution provides for action short of declaring war:
"Our founders realized that some insults to our nation would not be perpetrated by formal nations. And they made provision for it.
I would suggest that you refer to the Constitution, Article I, section 8, clause 10 and clause 11. (quoted in the article)" |

Herded unarmed cattle on air carriers.
Operative word in the above: Herded.
Let that word sink in, Americans.
HERDED. Like cattle, sheep, prisoners in concentration camps.

Just Monday, town leaders in Amherst, Mass., voted to restrict how often and how long American flags could fly along downtown streets.
NOTE: All Americans are being asked to display their flags for the next 30 days. If you have the capability, I suggest at half staff, but in any case, do display one if you can. It should be stated that it is no longer necessary to take the flag down at night. If possible, have it lighted for night display. |

When the FBI came knocking a year ago, asking Internet companies to install an e-mail eavesdropping program so that the bureau could catch potential criminals, many executives balked. It was, they said, an invasion of personal privacy.
But yesterday, when the agents came seeking information that might help them find the perpetrators of the attacks that likely killed thousands at the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, some were willing -- even eager -- to help out. |

Due to the current State of the Nation, an agreement has been struck at the Klamath Headgates. In a meeting held Thursday Morning in Klamath Falls, federal officers on the scene will be phasing themselves out over the next few days, and the Klamath Contingent will be pulling back behind the fence and relocating away from the headgates.
A 53-inch pipeline shall be installed over the next few days, bypassing the dam altogether.
Klamath Farmers will get their water. |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.' The right of the whole people, old and young, men, women and boys, and not militia only, to keep and bear arms of every description, and not such merely as are used by the militia, shall not be infringed, curtailed, or broken in upon, in the smallest degree; and all this for the important end to be attained: the rearing up and qualifying a well-regulated militia, so vitally necessary to the security of a free State. Our opinion is that any law, State or Federal, is repugnant to the Constitution, and void, which contravenes this right. [Nunn vs. State, 1 Ga. (1 Kel.) 243, at 251 (1846)] |
