"Rep. Dennis Moore, D-Kan., has gotten key supporters behind a bill to close a legal loophole allowing some convicts to have guns."

"Moore introduced a measure this week with nearly a dozen co-sponsors from both parties that would ban gun ownership by those convicted of violent crimes when they were juveniles."

"Aurora, Colorado - Action on a plan to ban gun sales at private homes was postponed by a City Council committee Thursday as officials debated whether Aurora has neighborhood firearm-sales problems."

"Organizers of the nation's largest gun show alleged Thursday that the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors held secret meetings to force their operation from the county fairgrounds in Pomona."

Filing their second federal lawsuit against the county, Great Western Gun Show charged that officials held "secret meetings" to compensate the company managing the fairgrounds while discussing a law to bar firearms sales on county property.
