Deacon said she respects the Second Amendment and those who own guns, including the hunters and sportsmen in the 24th District. But she also supports "commonsense gun legislation," including universal background checks, ending straw purchases and preventing criminals and the mentally ill from buying guns.

BALONEY.
First, "gun safety". It's a substitution for "gun control".
Second, the proposals, if enacted, will only affect law-abiding, non-criminal citizens, who should NOT be the targets of the law.
I don't understand why the Democrats keep getting away with this BS. |
