    | The Bell County Commissioners Court will be sending a letter to the Texas Attorney General’s office in regards to a citation it received for violating the government code and penal code by refusing to allow licensed handgun holders in the Bell County Justice Center. Commissioners unanimously approved an order to discuss and take action on the issue Monday morning. “This is the first step we need to take to see what will be appropriate action for us to take on this,” County Judge Jon Burrows said. “We want to do what is right, but we have an obligation to the public to protect the public. We need to be able to have the authority to deal with the AG’s (attorney general’s) office on this.”
