In a three-minute campaign video launched Monday, May 8, U.S. Rep. Evan Jenkins, R-W.Va., announced a bid to unseat Democratic U.S. Sen. Joe Manchin.
...
The campaign video juxtaposes shots of the West Virginia countryside over clips of past Manchin campaign ads, as Jenkins provides a running commentary on how Manchin has allegedly gone back on campaign promises and betrayed voters.
Jenkins accuses Manchin of flipping on a campaign promise to protect the Second Amendment by "pushing gun control with Barack Obama and New York liberals." |
