The gunman who killed nine people and injured seven at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Ore. Thursday before being killed by police has been identified as Chris Harper Mercer, two law enforcement sources confirmed to Fox News.
Submitter's note: An Oregon community college is the site of another target-rich environment for the lunatics among us. |

It didn’t take long for the usual suspects to blame guns for this incident.
It’s about time that the liberals realize that the only effective response to a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.
I blame this shooting on the liberal politicians, media and Bloomberg types for establishing gun prohibitions that prevent people from being able to defend themselves and reduce the carnage. When will they realize that gun prohibition zones do not work?

The evidence is clear and overwhelming that gun free zones do not prevent shootings. All that they do is encourage and enable the sickos and malcontents to engage in mass shootings without fear of immediate and effective defense.
Evil exists in this world, and it isn't going to go away.
Get rid of the victim disarmament zones and the mass shootings will decline.

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise, and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be the constant companion of your walks. — Thomas Jefferson, Encyclopedia of T. Jefferson, 318, Foley, Ed., reissued 1967. |
