Poor reporting. Which way did Liles turn, toward Carlson or away from him?
If he turned away and Carlson shot, then Carson is culpable. If he turned toward Carlson as if to advance, absent aggravating evidence to the contrary, the law presumes Carlson's claim of fear of imminent egregious harm or death to be valid. |
