    | A rise in shootings on college campuses has added a new front in the gun debate, centering on this question: does it hurt, or help, to have more armed people at school? Eight states allow people to carry concealed weapons on the grounds of public colleges and universities, based on the belief that criminals will be less likely to open fire if they know they might be confronted by someone else with a gun. Texas became the latest this year, and there is a growing movement to expand the list.

    | Yet another anti gun article filled with lies, mistakes, and strawman arguments, and with no means to respond. We see increasingly that such blather prohibits comments as they would immediately call out the bias and one sided erroneous claims being made.

    | Exactly. Why would the left ever allow anyone to argue any point but its own? People might learn the truth. |

    | "There is a growing movement to expand this list." Once freedom takes hold, it's hard to contain. |

                      | Congress have no power to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birthright of an American... The unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state government, but, where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people. — Tench Coxe, Pennsylvania Gazette, Feb. 20, 1788. | | |
