A bunch of twaddle! Chicago still has strict gun laws, and few if any gunstores. The libs are still whining about guns being smuggled in from nearby areas. Why aren't those areas just as violent as Chicago if the guns are the problem? Society is COLLAPSING in Chicago....gang violence, drugs, spurred by collapsing family structure feed this vicious cycle. Banning guns will not help. Chicago must heal itself and it's leaders ought to stop whining for more ineffective gun laws. |

Note that this idiot's only lament is that the SCOTUS forced Chitown to obey the Constitution.

TO REMEMBER |
| Are we at last brought to such humiliating and debasing degradation, that we cannot be trusted with arms for our defense? Where is the difference between having our arms in possession and under our direction, and having them under the management of Congress? If our defense be the real object of having those arms, in whose hands can they be trusted with more propriety, or equal safety to us, as in our own hands? Patrick Henry, 3 J. Elliot, Debates in the Several State Conventions 45, 2d ed. Philadelphia, 1836 |
