WE SHOULD never have tarred the Conservatives’ Gavin Brown with the brush of Hollywood as opposed to Holyrood. We recounted how Gavin had been mistaken for Kiefer Sutherland when out canvassing. But the Tories’ Westminster candidate in Edinburgh South seems to have taken the action man persona to heart. In the latest Tory leaflet, Gavin is pictured performing martial arts on Peter Duncan, MP. An attempt maybe to prove that the Tories are tougher on crime than Tony and Gordon, but encouraging self-defence is perhaps taking privatisation a bit too far. -------
