Who elected this moron. In order to purchase, and carry weapons I had to spend eight hours in a class on state legals, and prove safety and proficiency on the gun range, and then a 30day investigation into my background. Plus fees. To purchase a gun requires either a carry permit, or a Permit to Purchase (read 30day investigation into my background). Then the purchase paperwork saying that I am not a druggy, pervert, or nutcase is verified thru NICS. WHAT THE HECK ELSE DO YOU WANT FOR A BACKGROUND CHECK.
Oh, what are your qualifications to be a legislator, other than fooling a lot of people into voting for you.? |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
As an individual, I believe, very strongly, that handguns should be banned and that there should be stringent, effective control of other firearms. However, as a judge, I know full well that the question of whether handguns can be sold is a political one, not an issue of products liability law, and that this is a matter for the legislatures, not the courts. The unconventional theories advanced in this case (and others) are totally without merit, a misuse of products liability laws. — Judge Buchmeyer, Patterson v. Gesellschaft, 1206 F.Supp. 1206, 1216 (N.D. Tex. 1985) |
