Almost six months ago, the worst mass shooting in modern U.S. history at Orlando's Pulse nightclub renewed interest across the country in reasonable limits on guns. But that's not what we're seeing in the opening volley of bills for the next regular session of the Florida Legislature that begins in March. Some gun-loving legislators still believe the Sunshine State needs fewer restrictions, not more, on where people can carry firearms.

Why would restoring an eroded bill of right, the 2A, immediately, be bad timing? |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
...If a man lies under oath or procures the lie of another under oath, if he perjures himself or suborns perjury, he is guilty under the statute law. Under the higher law, under the great law of morality and righteousness, he is precisely as guilty if, instead of lying in a court, he lies in a newspaper or on the stump; and in all probability, the evil effects of his conduct are infinitely more widespread and more pernicious. — Teddy Roosevelt - May 12, 1900 |
