When Sadiqa Reynolds says “There is no way to deny that lives would be saved if access to guns were limited at crucial points,” she's really saying “There is no way to deny that lives would be saved if constitutional rights were limited at crucial points.”
To which Benjamin Franklin replies presciently, "Those who would give up essential liberty for a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."
That is, after all, the bottom line. |
