The man who shot and killed a 26-year-old Lexington man during a Christmas party acted in self-defense, according to the Lexington Police Department.

The department said the Dec. 20 shooting happened after the shooting victim, Wesley Warren-Camp, and his father William Camp attacked the shooter.

Conspicuously absent: felony murder charge

The father was charged with SECOND DEGREE assault and battery? He was acting in concert with his son, committing aggravated battery, which is a felony. The kid died, which makes him culpable under the felony murder law.
