Getting a gun is getting easier. We discovered private sellers on social media trying to either trade their guns or sell them for money. Also, it's not illegal.
Everyone we talked to seemed concerned over the situation because practically anyone can offer to buy that gun.
"They're probably doing it unlicensed, unwarranted, unsupervised," said Fort Myers resident David Dubouse.
He doesn't like guns, doesn't own guns, and hates what they're capable of, but Peter Babock wouldn't take your second amendment rights away.
"I would not deny anybody the right to own a gun as long as it was done legally," he said.
The law says it's legal to sell firearms on social media. |

This is not how criminals get guns. The don't buy them at gun shows and they don't buy them though social media.
They get them by theft, straw purchase, or on the street from other criminals.
Restrictions proposed by the anti gun liberals will only affect law abiding gun owners. |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
"And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling in terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand? [...] The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt!" —Alexander Solzhenitsyn, The Gulag Archipelago (Chapter 1 "Arrest") |
