Open carry in a number of states is not just legal, but protected by the state constitution. But just because something is legal, even constitutionally protected, doesn't mean that it is wise."

And the point is ?????? Other patrons, who are these other patrons, don't they (and you) know that the 2nd Amendment speaks nothing to the concealment of a weapon. I carry concealed and open, depending on the circumstance. If allot more would exercise the RIGHT to carry openly, there would be allot less crime against one another; the open carry of a weapon is as much as a deterrent as a LEO.
