"John McCann, the Sheriff's Office counsel, said the gun was discharged about 12:20 p.m. and that no one was injured. The officer, who was not identified, was sent home and the matter is being investigated by the Sheriff’s Office to determine 'whether it was human error or a malfunction,' McCann said." ...

demonstrates how to be a good little worm and at the behest of his media masters at the anti gun Record deceminate BS to those who are not gun knowledgable thus furthering the necessary to "gun control" myth machine scare tactics like guns accedentally discharge all by themselves.

But still I have to feel a bit of sorrow for the poor dumb bastard who pulled this potentially lethal stunt at a worst possible time. He will NEVER live it down.

                      | To trust arms in the hands of the people at large has, in Europe, been believed...to be an experiment fraught only with danger. Here by a long trial it has been proved to be perfectly harmless...If the government be equitable; if it be reasonable in its exactions; if proper attention be paid to the education of children in knowledge and religion, few men will be disposed to use arms, unless for their amusement, and for the defence of themselves and their country. — Timothy Dwight, Travels in New England and New York [London 1823] | | |
