Actually, this is a well-written article, but the author ruins it by his disingenuous last sentence.
Gun crimes have been, in fact, decreasing as ownership has been increasing, and for a country with 300+million guns, their misuse is a statistically minuscule percentage.
Had he been honest and reflected that in his closing statement, this piece would have hit it on the screws - but he didn't; he just couldn't resist the liberal dig at the end. |
